RMP TRC Meeting

The fourth quarter TRC meeting was held on December 4, 2012 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The TRC discussed proposals and plans for 2013 including: possible workshops the RMP could host, the 2013 Pulse of the Estuary and RMP Annual Meeting, and the 2013 Detailed Workplan. The TRC reviewed and provided feedback on the Detailed Workplan and subsequently approved the 2013 Workplan.

December 17 Symposium on Bioaccumulation in California

Pollutants that accumulate in fish and other aquatic life (or “bioaccumulate”) are having detrimental impacts on water bodies throughout California. Monitoring information will provide an essential foundation for cleanup plans and exposure reduction plans to remedy this problem. In addition, effective communication of this information to the public is imperative to enable fish consumers to reduce their exposure to pollutants.

RMP Sources, Pathways, and Loading Workgroup Meeting

The RMP Sources, Pathways, and Loading workgroup will meet to review SPL activities and objectives, POC watershed studies, and the Regional Watershed Spreadsheet Model (RWSM).
