Environmental Analyst
Resilient Landscapes Program

After graduating with her BSc in geology at University of Puget Sound, Emma served two terms with the Watershed Stewards Program which ignited her passion for watershed hydrology. Emma pursued her MS in Environmental Resources Engineering at Cal Poly Humboldt where she focused on process-based restoration within headwater catchments in degraded Sierra Nevada meadows. Following her MS, Emma worked in environmental consulting as a staff engineer to support salmonid habitat restoration throughout California’s north coast. As part of the Resilient Landscapes team, Emma applies her geology and watershed science background to assess riverscapes within San Francisco Bay.
