Information: Impact of California Budget Impasse on SFEI The State budget impasse has resulted in suspend-work orders. Although the RMP has not been affected by the failure to pass a
budget, approximately 40 percent of the Institute’s projects (revenue) are currently under a suspend-work order. Rainer Hoenicke, as SFEI’s acting interim Executive Director, will update
the Committee on measures that the Institute is currently implementing to weather this current crisis.
